IOWA HOMELESS YOUTH CENTER (IHYC)
Pick and Choose Your Giving at IHYC
Description
The Youth Opportunity Center provides hope and opportunity for the homeless youth population and provides the resources, so these young people don’t fall through the cracks. At IHYC we want to work with our volunteers so we can make sure they can give back to the community in a way that aligns with their wants/needs.
Our standard list of volunteer opportunities includes:
- Preparing and cooking meals for our lunch and/or dinner services.
- Organizing our art room and its supplies.
- Making survival kits.
- Sorting and organizing donations.
- Sorting and organizing our clothing closet.
